Aidan decided it had been too long since his last haircut so he tracked down the scissors and worked it himself.Not bad. The bangs are a little crooked, but hey... Give the kid a break. It was his first shot.

Well, we got a little surprise last week. Mile happened to run into the President of the Deep Ellum Foundation and they ended up talking for a couple of hours. After mentioning to Mike that they had heard about us and were impressed with everything we've been doing, he made us an incredible offer: office space in their building. Amazing! He believes that what we are doing and where we are going is right in line with what Deep Ellum needs both now and for it's future.So, as of last week, ArtLoveMagic has our first official office in Deep Ellum in a partnership with the Deep Ellum Foundation. (See pic above.) We'll be bringing some color to the walls, painting them a window sign as well as putting our logo on the front window.
Mike said he felt one of the words that would define this year was Open. It sure seems to be going in that direction.

Tonight was Melody Hay's second time producing a show and she did a fantastic job pulling artists together. We had our first airbrush artist and the open mic was hot. The pic above should prove it.Oh, and we have a little secret. You'll have to give it a week before I can share.

The flu that Aidan had has made it's way through my immune system and evidently laughed mockingly right in its face.
